Here is the high hall, with its veined ceiling and its great stained-glass windows, which give it a sort of religious grandeur.
Then we could catch a sight of a large room, maybe for councils and, according to a student, the graduation ceremony. Its wooden sculptures make a great impresssion.
After that we enjoyed the sun, and our picnic, on the harbour.
Here on the right is the Watershed, a very good local cinema and bar. And in the row are every hype bars and restaurants of the city centre...
Then we moved to Brandon hill, to have a sight of Bristol from the top of this tower.
Here is the view from the tower. I love these lines of colored houses, in the background. I don't know what they are, but there are many of them in Bristol.
And the garden, English style, at the foot of the tower.
Three french guys so proud to be on top!
And this is a 99 flake. It seems to be the most popular ice cream, but well, that's just vanilla ice cream with a stick of chocolate... And it doesn't even cost 99 pence!
But who's the Lady in red on the first picture ?? ;-)
ReplyDeleteNice views from the top !
Fr.
I don't know, we weren't introduced. But she makes the picture intense.
